  I bought a new phone which requires a nano sim as opposed to the micro sim I have now. Being an Internode mobile customer, they use the OPtus network and my sim card is an OPtus one. I rang this store and clearly told the salesgirl ny situation,being sure to say this was an Internode mobile using an Optus account- could I obtain a nano sim form the Optus store? I was politely assured that yes I could- just come in to the store and we can do that for you.
  So off I go for a 20 min trip to this store and I'm approached by a young girl in her early 20s who I explain the situation and the fact that I'd rang earlier. Of course, she said that they could not do that at the store,I had to contact Internode.
  I got angry. So her training kicked in and she turned on the indignant, unfeeling attitude that we are all used to these days from people who deal in "customer service". Even though,at the end of this she apologised that I'd received the wrong information, but I left the store feeling s though I'd just been punched in the face.
  I contacted optus customer service and spoke with a pleasant Asian woman,explaining once more,the simple situation. She,in turn,explained that I would need to deal with internode,"so let me see how I can help you with that"
  She contacted the appropriate section at Internode and connected me through to them so they could attend to my request,which they did both politely and patiently.
  WHY couldn't this girl at the Optus store help me in a similar manner?
